Hi, Iām Brooke.
I bring a one of a kind combination of experience in the biomedical, medical technology, and multifaceted aspects within wellness industries as a teacher, long with clinician expertise as a licensed mental health professional.
Before entering private practice, I spent many years working simultaneously in healthcare and wellness spaces which included med-tech innovation settings and teaching and managing yoga studios. I directly and indirectly experienced how high-responsibility roles, emotional and physical labor, and performance demands impact individuals and teams, not just in my spaces of working but beyond. Through a mix of my love of learning, growing mindfulness practices and therapy, I was able to gain a cognitive, somatic, and statistical understanding of workplace pressures.
These personal experiences helped me navigate my own health challenges during extreme and significant periods of stress. My body completely shut down and I gained a new understanding of how chronic stress, nervous system overload, and environmental demands impact many peoples mental and physical health. My work allows me to transform organizations by allowing individuals to understand their own level of burnout, resilience, and workplace wellness with both clinical expertise and insight.
Today, I partner with companies nationwide to tailor support to leaders and teams. I guide and teach sustainable performance, managing burnout, and strengthening relational dynamics through evidence based nervous system and mental health approaches
My Approach
Workplace challenges are often addressed at the surface level teaching a limited and basic range of productivity tools and time management strategies leading to some short term outcomes. While helpful, these approaches frequently. Workplace challenges are often addressed at the surface level teaching a limited, basic, and non personalized range of productivity tools and time management strategies. Conflict will always exist, these non-comprehensive approaches often lead to short term outcomes and long term frustrations. While often helpful, these tools tend to overlook the underlying drivers of burnout, communication breakdown, and disengagement.
My work focuses on the human nervous system and relational dynamics that uniquely shape how each particular individual in a workplace system and the system itself functions under short and long term pressure.
Stress physiologically impacts:
Decision Making
Communication
Emotional regulation
Lack of empathy
Leadership presence and efficacy
Team collaboration
Motivation and engagement
When companies understand how these factors have the ability to enrich environments where people can perform more effectively without sacrificing well being or company demands and growth.
I integrate clinical and relationship mental health background, nervous system regulation, biological sciences, and mindfulness practices to create practical and sustainable solutions tailored to each business's needs. This leads to long lasting resilience, maintenance, and growth.
