Therapy with Brooke
I work with motivated people who may feel low, lost, or impulsive by helping them turn that drive into lasting transformation.
Brooke Grossfeld, LMHC, RMFTI
Hi, I’m Brooke. I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Family and Marriage Therapist. I work with teens, adults, and couples who are going through transitions in life, relationships, or within themselves. I see in person clients in Miami and virtually throughout Florida. Many of my clients are high-achieving, insightful, and driven, while others feel lost, stuck, overwhelmed, and/ or filled with uncertainty. I work with clients who have a major triggering event that prompts them to get therapy whether that event is recent or in the past as much as I work with people who just need to talk.
I help people explore and improve their relationship with themselves and how that relationship shows up everywhere else, romantic partnerships, friendships, family, work, and everyday interactions. You might be feeling anxious, unsure of what’s next, or just tired of overthinking everything. Our work together can help you reconnect with a sense of direction, reclaiming your power, clarity, and self-trust.
My style as a therapist is warm, direct, and collaborative. I bring a balance of nurturing support and honest reflection. Every session, I meet you where you’re at, whether that is discussing any portion of your past, present, and/or making future goals. I integrate Bowen Family Systems, Cognitive Behavior, Solution Focused, and narrative therapies with an I use mindfulness and somatic approaches to help you , feel more connected to your body, your emotions, and your values.
One of my goals as a therapist is to provide you with “tools” that work for you. I understand that these tools are not black/white and pull from my years of teaching yoga, breath work, and intro to biology to help you to become your own therapist to yourself.
Disclaimer
As both a licensed psychotherapist and a yoga teacher, I care deeply about offering safe, ethical, and supportive spaces for healing. However, due to professional ethics, I cannot serve as both your therapist and your yoga teacher.
If you choose to work with me as your therapist, I cannot also be your yoga instructor outside of therapy. That said, I may incorporate yoga-based or mindfulness practices into therapy sessions when clinically appropriate. While yoga can be therapeutic, it is not a substitute for psychotherapy.
These boundaries help protect your wellbeing and the integrity of our work together. Feel free to reach out if you’re unsure which path is right for you.
