Somatic and Mindfulness-Based Therapy
Mindfulness is non-judgmental awareness of the present moment. It builds emotional regulation and lowers stress. Somatic therapy adds the body: our emotions and experiences, including stress and trauma, are often held physically. Together, we pause and notice what’s happening emotionally, energetically, and physically, and I guide you to find what works for your nervous system, whether that’s a particular style of breathing, movement, or grounding practice, so you can use these tools in real life.
With over 12 years as a yoga teacher and a background in biology, I bring both the science and the practice of the mind-body connection into the room.
For individuals: Calm anxiety, release tension, and feel more at home in your body.
For couples and families: Learn to regulate together, stay present in hard conversations, and respond instead of react.
A good fit if you “know” what to do but your body still feels anxious, tense, or on edge.
